The Keepin’ Kids Safe
Initiative
The Keepin’ Kids Safe Initiative was created to help defend kids against child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, trafficking, and teen dating violence through education, awareness, advocacy, and community action. We believe protection starts with informed adults, safe communities, and children who know they are seen, valued, heard, and protected.
Our Impact
SIS-HER has reached more than 5,000 children and families through education, outreach, safety resources, school partnerships, and community advocacy, and you can join us in helping create safer communities for children and families.
What Is a Kid Defender?
A Kid Defender is someone committed to helping create safer environments for children by staying informed, speaking up, recognizing warning signs, supporting prevention education, and helping children feel safe enough to ask for help."
